28th Women of Courage and Conviction Awards Souvenir Journal
The Greater Boston Section of The National Council of Negro Women hosted its 28th Women of Courage and Conviction (WCC) Awards program on Saturday, October 21, 2023, 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Venezia Restaurant at 20 Ericsson Street, Boston.
The WCC Awards are presented to women who have distinguished themselves as leaders and outstanding volunteers in the community. Besides raising awareness of these “heroes among us,” the luncheon is a major fundraiser for the nonprofit GBS NCNW. Click here to review the souvenir journal.

FUNDING YOUR EDUCATION SEMINAR, APRIL 2019

In collaboration with CauseEDU, GBS NCNW presented a free informational workshop for students and parents. It was very well attended and plans are already underway to present this worthwhile workshop again next year.

CAREER AWARENESS DAY FOR YOUTH, NOVEMBER 2019!
Twenty-two professionals joined us to collaborate with the more than 40 young people who participated in the Fair. GBS NCNW presented the students with bags comprised of school supplies and career information. Throughout the event, the young people were excited to learn about the many and varied career paths that are available to them. Lunch was provided; movie tickets and backpacks were raffled and many questions were asked and answered!
