Remembering Our Founding President

The National Council of Negro Women honored founder, Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune's 150th birthday in Washington, D.C., this past week with a celebration in Lincoln Park and visits to local Black historic sites, starting with the Mary McLeod Bethune Council House. Our Greater Boston Section President Dr. Adine Latimore was there to pay homage to the educator and civil rights leader.
